About dog breeds

When we talk about pets, the first animal that comes to our mind is a dog. There are very many different breeds of dogs, and it is not easy to choose the right dog? This decision should be made very responsibly. A dog is not a toy, which can be pushed aside or thrown away when you don’t need it. It is a live being and needs our attention and proper care.
When choosing a dog, you should consider how it will influence your and your family’s life. For example, if your family prefers an active way of life, loves travelling and long daily walks in fresh air and spending most of the free time outdoors - you can choose active and agile pets, such as Siberian huskies. But if you prefer quiet and sedentary life – this pet is not for you.
Dogs of all breeds differ in size, weight, character and needs. If your home is big and spacious, you can grow a Rottweiler. Naturally, larger dogs need more food, so if you have enough space at home and do no experience shortage of money, this pet can suit you. But if you live in a one or two-room flat – keeping such a big dog at home might be problematic.
Some people make a big mistake when they select a dog only according to its appearance. If a dog looks cute and playful – they buy it right away. It’s a bad idea, and you should not behave like that. Dogs must be selected very responsibly.
Growing and taking care of a dog is a very serious duty. Various breeds differ not only in their appearance. So if you are going to acquire a dog for the first time in your life, you’d better consult people who breed dogs in order to make the right decision.
